UPDATE: January 30, 2013 : Since I posted this review of PV Body the company has changed gears completely. I had no idea that this change was coming at the time that I reviewed the product and posted my affiliate link. The company has now transitioned to creating their own line of clothing called Ellie. I have read several negative blog posts and comments about this transition (some felt it was a bait and switch type tactic) as well as their business practices, and poor customer service. I contacted the company with my questions and they were all answered satisfactorily. That being said it remains to be seen how the new company will function or what the quality of their clothes will be.
My major question for the company was: If you subscribed to PV Body and now do not want to participate in Ellie is that ok? The answer is Yes! You can cancel at anytime.
If you would like to read more about the PV Body transition to Ellie you can get the information straight from the horses mouth on the Ellie Blog (Additional update 2/28 Ellie removed the blog post detailing the who, what, when, where, and why of their transition).
I will be removing the afflilate link from this page as they are no longer functioning as PV Body. I wanted to leave this review up because, while I wish I had been made aware of their upcoming transition before promoting them, I was still satisfied with the quality of the clothes and the customer service I received.

My giveaway for this awesome event comes to you from:
As you may have noticed, subscription services are popping up right and left. You can now subscribe to receive monthly shipments of, not only the fruit baskets of the past, but also children's clothes, toys, makeup, green products, and many others. Today I am reviewing, PV. Body, a new service that brings you a new set of workout clothes every month for a discount price. PV. body works with a variety of brands and strives to bring you the perfect box of fitness apparel every month. For those of you with New Year's resolutions that include the improving your fitness, this might be the perfect motivator for you! I know I always feel better about working out when I have something cute to wear.
Before you receive a box, you fill out a quiz so that your stylist can properly choose the clothing that will be best for you. I filled out my quiz as listed below (I am being real here people...I am a large...I probably will always be a large even if I workout every day).
Top: Size: Large (usually...I am a 36 C)
Bottom: Size: Large
Style: What’s your ideal workout?Gym Goer- spin, Zumba, body fit. or walking at the park with my baby
Color Preference : Top: Bold Colors
Color Preference: Bottom: Black (I always wear black bottoms. I have a big butt and hips which i am trying to minimize post baby. If spandexy, it must be thick to cover up any lumps and bumps)
Bottom Preference: Capris/Pants
Your shipment comes in a bright pink mailer which is bonus points right off the bat. They sent me a pair of thick black workout pants which are Performance Sportswear by American Apparel. These pants are pretty tight but I actually like this because they stay in place nicely. They have a double panel around the midsection which really helps to smooth my muffin top down. There is also a little pocket in the waistband where you can store a key or ID. I love that feature. From my research I believe that these pants retail at $48.00.
They sent me a top made by Colosseum which is a brand that is carried by Nordstrom. This top retails for $29.00. It is a bit form fitting to wear with the pants they sent me ( I try to abide by the tight on one end and loose on the other rule) but I think I will love it with a pair of looser pants I already own. The fabric is soft, the color is fun, and the print is really different.
You may be asking yourself how much this all costs? Well for 49.95$ a month you receive one outfit that may have a retail worth of over $100.00 (although I estimate that the retail worth of my outfit was $77.00 this is still a great deal). If you sign up with the link below you get 20% off your order! This means your outfit would only cost you $39.96. This is less than or equal to what some workout outfits would cost you at TJMaxx or Marshalls and this is for some serious quality brand name apparel.
AFFILIATE LINK removed as of January 30, 2013 (See reasons above)
I think that if your into fitness (or just want to be), you deserve a new outfit to match your new year's health and fitness resolutions! Give this a shot! If you are skeptical about size or fit you can always exchange your box (or one piece of the box) if it doesn't work for you.
