Pricey But Stunning- The Neiman Marcus Collection At Target

Pricey But Stunning- The Neiman Marcus Collection At Target

I am normally not in the market for a $100.00 dress or a $70.00 top when shopping at Target, however, I've gotta hand it to them these outfits and items really caught my eye. Not only are these pieces stunning in print but when I visited them in person I was really impressed by their quality. Still, I am curious how these items will sell at this higher end price-point. What do you think? Would you buy a $100.00 dress at Target?

  1. I didn't look at the clothes, but I did look at the other stuff. I was not impressed by the accessory type stuff!

  2. I agree the clothing I felt was better quality though. They had some really pretty holiday party pieces. I just wish it was cheaper!!

  3. I would only buy a $100 dress if it was for a very special occasion! While their clothing is gorgeous it's just not in my budget and I have no special occasion to go to. But I do love Target!!

  4. This makes me realize I have no idea when the last time was that I went and bought myself some new clothes! These are spendy, I'm more of the clearance rank type of gal, haha.

  5. I'm sincerely hoping that the Neiman Marcus line is part of Target Canada when we get ours next year! While I'm not frequently in the market for party dresses, I like them to be *nice* when I find them. And we've only got one store that sells upscale merchandise in my city.

  6. I will cross my fingers for you! That must be hard with only one such store in your city. Do you do a lot of online shopping? Or does it just serve to help you save money?

  9. I probably wouldn't realistically buy a $100 dress anywhere, but I do love that short black lace dress at the top left of the image. Absolutely beautiful!

  11. I haven't seen any of the items myself, but I have heard many of the fashion pieces from this collaboration are not great quality (e.g. clothing not lined, etc). If I buy something designer, I would rather actually pay more than $100 and get something that's great quality and will last for years vs. $100 now and have it last a season. I loved the Missoni collaboration at Target last year. That one sold out in about 24 hours!

  12. Online shopping sucks, too. Not a lot of places ship to Canada without exorbitant shipping rates. I either make due or shop when I get a trip to Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, or Seattle.

  13. I would buy a $100 dress if it were for something *really* special, but I think I'd probably try to find a sale at a higher-end store, rather than Target. At that price point I think it's a risky move from their store. They are very beautiful, though
