ChewBeads- A Review

I never thought I would be the type of Mom that would purchase jewelry for my child to chew on. That being said, Weston loves to chew on my jewelry, which leads me to worry that he will choke or hurt himself. I was so excited when I found Chewbeads; stylish, safe, non-toxic jewelry that is alright for my boy to man-handle (no pun intended).

So lets try this: who, what, where, why, and how much.....

WHO: A former fashion industry expert turned Mama created stylish, colorful, non-toxic jewelry that would be safe for her children.

WHAT:   Chewbeads!

Made of 100% silicone (similar to pacifiers & nipples)

Soft on babies gums and emerging teeth

Easy to clean with soap and water. Also dishwasher safe!

No BPA, PVC, Phthalates, Cadmium, or Lead

No detachable parts (disclaimer: as always no child should be left unattended with these pieces)

Necklaces can  help your baby focus while nursing

You can use the bracelets to remind you of which side you nursed last.

WHERE: You can purchase Chewbeads online now on their website or you can find their retail partners across the US and Canada.

You can also visit them on facebook

Or follow them on Twitter

WHY: These necklaces and bracelets are excellent shower presents for the expectant or nursing Mother. Sometimes you need a unique gift and Chewbeads are just that!

HOW MUCH: The price varies depending on the style you pick. The Jane Necklace (shown here in cobalt blue) retails for $29.50. Check out their amazing plethora of colors and styles!

Thanks to Chewbeads for choosing to work with me and sending me a necklace for review!

Disclosure: I received a product to review for free. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission guidelines.

  5. It's interesting that chewbead necklaces can help a baby focus during nursing. It would be nice to have a jewelry option that I'm not worried about the baby breaking.

    1. It kinda sounds strange that a necklace could help a baby focus. My pre-baby self would have scoffed at that, however, my boy is so active that if he's not playing with something he's trying to flip out of my lap. The necklace really helps!

  6. The beads look so cute! I love that they are not detachable so they pose less of a chocking hazard. I also especially love the beads that look like turquoise. Very fashionable and useful.
